Ambassador Al Moses will be interviewed by author and Capital Jewish Museum board member Esther Foer.
Attorney, author, and former partner in a major Washington law firm, Moses was special counsel to President Carter, U.S. ambassador to Romania, and special presidential envoy for the Cyprus conflict. He served as the Chair of United Nations Watch, was national president of the American Jewish Committee, and is the author of Bucharest Diary: Romania’s Journey from Darkness to Light plus several other books. His articles have appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and other leading periodicals worldwide. In 2002 he was awarded Romania’s Marc Cruce Medal (Order for Merit) by President Ion Iliescu, the only American to have been so honored.

Business Meeting (4-5pm): Presentations will feature exciting updates on the progress of the Museum and the opening in Spring 2023. Voting will take place for the new slate of officers and board members as well as proposed bylaws.
