Join us for an advance screening of the closing episode of Season 14 of Pati’s Mexican Table, Pati Jinich’s long running part travelogue-part cooking PBS series. We will view the finale episode, “For Love and Family,” in advance of the episode’s official public release on November 21. Following the screening, Jinich will be in conversation with Axios’s Anna Spiegel to discuss the episode, and amongst other things, her Mexican Jewish Roots and the history of the Mexican Jewish Community. Followed by Q&A with the audience.

Guests attending the pre-viewing cocktail reception will receive a copy of Jinich’s New York Times Best Selling cookbook, Treasures of the Mexican Table: Classic Recipes, Local Secrets (November 23, 2021) and light refreshments. Jinich will sign copies of her book during the reception. Ticket includes screening and talkback.

Episode 9 “For Love and Family”
Pati reconnects with her Jewish heritage in Mexico City alongside historian Mónica Unikel-Fasja, visiting places filled with childhood memories and history. Later, she joins her sister, Karen Drijanski, at her restaurant Niddo to cook, laugh, and reminisce over pancakes and chilaquiles, celebrating family, identity, and the stories that have shaped her life.
About Pati Jinich
Pati Jinich is the 4x James Beard Award-winning and Emmy-nominated host and executive producer of La Frontera, her PBS Primetime docuseries that reveals untold stories from the US-Mexico border; Pati’s Mexican Table going on its 14th season, which has brought Mexican flavors into American homes and her newest PBS Primetime series, Pati Jinich Explores Panamericana, where she expands her mission to the entirety of the Americas, from Alaska to Argentina. Recently named the Washington Post’s “Post Next; 50 People Shaping Our Society in 2025”, the International Association for Culinary Professionals just announced she will receive the 2025 IACP Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the Culinary World. Her fourth cookbook will be published in the Fall of 2024.
