Join us to read stories, sing songs, and do crafts and activities that make the Museum playful and accessible for children under 5 and their caregivers. Each month features a different theme and book suited for children of all backgrounds as they learn about themselves and the world around them.

We’ll be joined by special guest Laura Gehl reading her book “The Rosh Hashanah Recipe.” We’ll make apple stamp art, visit the exhibitions, and consider all the things that make the new year sweet.

Cover of the book "The Rosh Hashana Recipe" by Laura Gehl. Two hand drawn characters stand over a counter with a basket of apples and other kitchen cooking equipment. The character on the right is a small child with a white chef's hat, and the person on the right has black pigtails and is rolling out some dough.

Presented in partnership with Bender JCC, Edlavitch DCJCC, Pozez JCC and PJ Library.
