Welcome to the heart of the Capital Jewish Museum! Here you can read, listen, talk, and engage with interactives throughout this colorful, lively space. Dig deep into local Jewish history, discover Jewish perspectives on social justice issues facing the world today, and think about your own identity and values.

In this exhibition, you will meet a selection of 100 Jewish Washingtonians, discuss stories of liberation while seated around a symbolic seder table, and explore an oversized interactive map of the region, charting local Jewish community movement and growth over time. You can also share your thoughts on contemporary issues and contribute personal stories to the Museum’s collection.

With gratitude to the generous supporters who made this exhibition possible.
