Other Ways to Give

For details on how to make a gift of stock, by wire transfer or ACH, through a Donor Advised Fund, an IRA, or other retirement accounts, please contact a member of our Advancement team at [email protected] or 202-525-2250. Please advise us when making a donation by stock, wire transfer, or ACH so we can track and acknowledge your gift. Stocks and publicly traded securities can offer tax advantages.

Founders Society

The Founders Society honors the Museum’s most generous donors who have made exceptional philanthropic contributions of $250,000 or more for the advancement of the Museum’s construction, exhibitions, educational programs and collections preservation.

Members receive permanent recognition on a prominent location in the museum and are regularly included as special guests to Museum events.

1876 Society

Named in honor of our historic synagogue, the 1876 Society recognizes those who have designated the Museum as a beneficiary of an estate gift.

Bequests may take many forms – a specific dollar amount, a portion of one’s remaining assets after all obligations are met, specific assets, remaining retirement account assets, or benefits from an individual retirement account or life insurance policy.

For more information, please email [email protected] or call 202-525-2250 to complete a Statement of Intent.
