Join us at CJM before the fireworks for specialty crafts, music, food, and fun. Learn about Jewish Revolutionary War history from our friends at National Museum of American Jewish Military History. Connect and celebrate a tradition for your home with mezuzah activities brought to you by MyZuzah. We’ll also have themed crafts and activities in the Community Action Lab, and classic outdoor games and music on our newly opened 3rd floor terrace. Plus, build a goodie bag to enjoy during the fireworks!

Catalyst Hot Dogs will be on site to sell hot dogs and snacks. Fun Fact: Hot dogs are widely believed to be the success of two German-Jewish immigrants.

Admission to the Family Day and the ongoing exhibitions is free. Admission to the special exhibition, “I’ll Have What She’s Having”: The Jewish Deli costs $10-$15 and Free for ages 12 & under, Free for Members.

PROGRAM PARTNERS

The National Museum of American Jewish Military History was chartered by an act of Congress in 1958 to document, preserve, and educate the public about the contributions of Jewish Americans to peace and freedom.

MyZuzah celebrates the tradition of the mezuzah as a touchpoint that unites, connects, and protects.

Catalyst Hot Dogs has been a frequent partner of the Museum since their participation in the 2022 Capital Jewish Food Festival. Stop by their truck for refreshments ($$) and to debate the question: Is a hot dog a sandwich?
