Playing is learning! Join us the second Thursday of each month for Story Time at CJM, presented in partnership with Bender JCC, Edlavitch DCJCC, Pozez JCC and PJ Library. Children and their caregivers are invited to join us for stories, songs, and exploratory play as a means of reinforcing early literacy skills. Each month features a different theme and book suited for children of all backgrounds as they learn about themselves and the world around them.

April is the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s Sara & Samuel J. Lessand Good Deeds Week 2024! The Museum will be hosting a special activity table that week in our Community Action Lab – we’ll be making Happy Spring and Happy Passover cards for the residents of the Charles E. Smith Life Communities. Any family who drops by that week can make a card or two, but for pre-schools or families with our littlest learners, we want to highlight our Story Time program, on April 11th at 10am. The Museum will be joined by our friends from PJ Library to read about good deeds and make as many cards as we can!

Storytime is most appreciated by kids aged 5 and under.
