Family Events

From monthly drop in storytelling to exhibition and holiday inspired family days, the Museum offers families of all backgrounds creative and meaningful opportunities to learn while having fun—for free or minimal cost.

Ongoing: Story Time at CJM

Second Thursdays | 10 – 11 am | Free

Enjoy stories, crafts, songs, and play during these kid-friendly early hours. Best for ages 5 and under.

Presented in partnership with PJ Library, Bender JCC, Pozez JCC, and Edlavitch JCC

Family Day: Full of Pride
Sunday, June 22 | 9:30 am – 1 pm
$5 per Person | $20 per Family maximum

A Pride party for all ages! Dance to live music courtesy of the Hill Havurah ensemble, listen to Jewish drag queen Bella Naughty lead story time, enjoy crafts, and explore LGBTJews in the Federal City with our family guide and scavenger hunt.
